GET INVOLVED - SMAll Groups

At Fellowship Church, our goal for everyone is to find a place to belong, a place to find intimate community, and a place where you can get real with people who love and care about you.  Small Groups are where people meet regularly for Bible Study and prayer and commit to accountability, friendship and support. They are the safe places to open your heart, share your life, and ask the tough questions.

Small Group opportunities are abundant at Fellowship Church.  In February and September, we host Small Group Connection events which are an oppurtunity to see the curriculum and to meet the Small Group Leaders.  During the summer months, we have Activity Groups that get together to enjoy a number of different activities.

“Five Lies that Ruin Relationships” by Chip Ingram

Every relationship we enter starts with beautiful intentions. Brides kiss grooms without a thought of divorce.  Friends shake hands on a business dream with iron-clad resolve.  Churches start with no intention of splitting.  No one imagines that underneath the pristine landscape of our relationships sits a fault line.  And when the quake hits, we all feel the damage.

Have you ever looked back over a circumstance or relationship in your life and wondered how they became so messy or difficult?  Within James 4 & 5, we'll define five of the most common lies that have the potential to ruin relationships with those we love.  We'll uncover the source of quarreling, how our words wound, how not to make decisions, and why better things don't always make things better.
