Serving in K-2
(Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)

Thank you for your interest in serving in our K-2 Class!

Serving in our ministry is an amazing opportunity to be a part of God’s work in the lives of young people. We love our kids and want church to be safe and fun. Whether you are overseeing a game, cheering kids on in the bleachers, or simply showing the love of Jesus to the kids in your area, you will be impacting young people’s lives! You will be surprised at how your life is also greatly impacted along the way.

K-2 volunteers (or “Teal Team”) serve our Kindergarten-2nd grade students during the 9am and 11am Sunday Services. We have a blast teaching these kids about the love of Jesus in a practical way! Our facility includes a giant indoor jungle gym, zip line, and craft room. Volunteers can lead any one of these elements ensuring safety and fun! The services include a large group game, worship, and a video bible teaching along with a short life application teaching at the end. If you love high energy and silliness, K-2 is the place for you! Before we place you in K-2, we will train you so that you will feel confident and comfortable in all areas.

When you step up to serve God as a volunteer in your church, you have certain responsibilities. You aren’t expected to suddenly be perfect, but the Bible does say we should strive to be examples in faith, actions and choices. Children are drawn to those who are consistent and pursuing Christ. To serve in K-2, we ask that you are making a definite effort to get closer to Christ — not that you have arrived as the perfect Christians.
