Serving in 4640 Student Ministry

Thank you for your interest in 4640!

4640 Volunteers (or “Blue Team”) serve our High School and Middle School students. During the school year, the services are on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 8:30pm for High School, and Wednesday from 6pm-8:30pm for Middle School. During the Summer, 4640 combines 6th through 12th grade on Wednesday nights only.

There are so many fun serving opportunities that include operating the spider jump, sports court, concessions, Nintendo Switch area, and others. It's the perfect place to build meaningful relationships with both students and other volunteers.

If you are passionate about pouring into the next generation, 4640 is the place for you! Before we place you in 4640, we will train you so that you will feel confident and comfortable.

Serving in our ministry is an amazing opportunity to be a part of God’s work in the lives of young people. We love our students and want church to be a safe, fun, and life-changing experience. Whether you are overseeing a game, leading a lesson, or simply showing the love of Jesus to the kids in your area, you will be impacting young people’s lives! You will be surprised at how your life is impacted along the way.

When you step up to serve God as a volunteer in your church, you have certain responsibilities. You aren’t expected to suddenly be perfect, but the Bible does say we would strive to be examples in faith, actions and choices. Young people are drawn to those who are consistent and authentic: People who are trying to become better Christians all the time and who will admit their weaknesses and doubts. To serve in 4640 we ask that you are making a clear effort to get closer to Christ — not that you have already arrived as the perfect Christians.
